Felix Jakob

CEO

Felix Jakob held several positions in his career, starting from development engineer to CTO of the former Ascom PBX. He gained his international experience in different European Countries as well as in India and the US. The success of Aarenet arises from his experience and profound technical know-how, his managerial skills in operational and strategic positioning and his professional network.

Christian Häberli

R&D, Deputy CEO

Christian Häberli works in the domain of VoIP since 2005, as embedded SW developer, head of R&D and COO at Patton-Inalp Networks. This was the time when VoIP developed from a niche solution to a carrier grade technology. In early 2016 he joined Aarenet and took over the responsibility for the operations in Switzerland and Italy, including the technical support. In December 2018 he took over the responsibility for R&D and was appointed as deputy CEO. Christian Häberli holds a PhD in experimental physics and is experienced in project management, technology management and software development.

Daniel Jaggi

Architecture

Over twelve years of his professional life Daniel Jaggi spent developing software for two PBX generations (ISDN and VoIP) at Ascom. He gained his vast experience in IP based technologies as a solution architect for data-products and lead architect for data enabling products with Swisscom Mobile. Daniel Jaggi joined Aarenet in October 2006 and brings the full breadth of experience to excel the development activities in Aarenet.

Bao Vo

Director - APAC

Bao Vo has over 20 years of Telecommunications experience spanning scientific, engineering, operations and business development roles. Bao worked in R&D and operations positions at Northern Telecom in Canada, Project Management role at FirstMark Communications and Versatel Telecom in Western Europe. Most recently, Bao has held APAC Regional directorship position for US Technology companies such as Verilink and Patton Electronics. Bao holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo – Canada. His broad international Telecommunications experience provides strong synergy with Aarenet’s business expansion initiative into the Pacific Region.

Emanuel Eggenberg

Operations

Emanuel Eggenberg accumulated profound experiences in project- and product-management, in the former Ascom PBX. He held several positions including appointments as project manager for the first IP based LAN-PBX of Ascom. His excellent know-how in VoIP and ISDN plus his sound understanding of the European market is an invaluable contribution to the success of Aarenet.

Frank Remmers

Sales

Frank Remmers started his career in the development department of Ascom PBX, moving with time into marketing and sales to enable and push the distribution of VoIP PBX systems in the European market space. Furthermore he gained knowledge with several international Tier 1 carriers like BT Global Services and held the position of Country Manager of Telefonica Switzerland from 2009 until 2013. He holds an MSc in Electrotechnical Engineering from the Twente University of Technology in the Netherlands and joined Aarenet in April 2014.

Michel Balabio

Director - Southern Europe

With over 15 years of experience in the Telecommunication market, Michel has been covering various roles with large and small IT companies, focusing on sales and business development assignments. Results oriented and capable to integrate with all types of organizations, Michel is passionate in building strong business relationships and long term customer collaborations. Specifically in the VoIP and ICT market segments, he has enabled consistent revenue growth and has implemented strategic key account management and tracked sales results with enterprise channels and Telco Service Providers.

Keba Amadou Sow

Director - MEA

Keba A. Sow has over 22 years of Telecommunications experience extending from key roles in finance, business development and consultancy. He has worked internationally for key multinational telecom players since 1998. Keba holds a Bachelor's degree from Concordia University, a Graduate management Diploma from McGill University and has earned a Certified Management Accountant qualification from CPA Canada. His broad international Telecommunications experience provides strong synergy with Aarenet’s business expansion initiative into the MEA Region.
